LEGO enthusiasts made their way through the LEGOLAND Florida gates hoping for a chance to win the year’s most loved toys. Families took to the streets in bright colors with large sculptures featuring Albert Einstein and other famous characters, while southern ladies watched from afar smiling because the toys were no longer wanted. Yes, this is an interactive park that is interactive. Ford Driving School allows children to drive mini cars along two-lane streets with stop signs and roundabouts. They also have the option of building their own LEGO vehicles or programming computerized robots with Mindstorms. The focus is not just on having fun. There are plenty of activities that can keep you busy regardless of whether your child wants to get more exercise than they are getting or has been kept busy by a family member.
Children will enjoy playing in DUPLO Barn or Village while older kids can enjoy Forestman’s Hideout and Pharaoh’s Revenge. For those looking to build their own adventure there is even an interactive section with laser guns for all ages in The Lost Kingdom ride inside the Land Of Adventure.
2. Roller Coasters
Coasters are not only intended for thrill-seekers. LEGOLAND Florida offers a variety of roller coasters to keep your heart beating and to have fun. There’s more than what’s offered in their California sister park (4 instead of 3). This may disappoint some riders but there will still be plenty of fun in this with a hattan theme where families and adults alike can have fun with a variety of activities like wooden dinosaur-themed Coasteraurus or the suspended steel Flight School which offers something that is a bit different in its airborne experience.
3. Cypress Gardens
The Cypress Gardens, Florida’s oldest and most beloved natural area, is home to some incredible nature. The first time it was open was 1933. The park is known for its gigantic Banyan Tree, which stands amid the other 39 magnificent trees that are on the grounds. Additionally, there are southern belles in hoop skirts and water ski shows. This was back in the days when people weren’t restricted to working inside due to cold temperatures.
4. Water Ski Show
Brickbeard’s Bounty Battle is an exciting show that will make you laugh and cheer. Captain Brickerhead’s pirates get defeated by Miss Miranda with her Imperial soldiers through a series water ski jumps, tricks and more. Five rows of the first jump are splashed so guard your phones or cameras from getting wet if they’re not waterproof yet because the show doesn’t end there.
5. LEGO Brick Creations
Miniland is the most popular attraction of every LEGO park. There, iconic buildings and structures from around our world are brought to life with unique representational creations constructed from 50 million bricks which can only be found at this Florida location! There are unique depictions of Miami Beach and Kennedy Space Station along with other nearby locations like Daytona International Speedway and Key West. They make it worth a visit, even if you’re just not into playing all day long.
